IURD and McEvangelho!
The unity of Vila Mariana Universal Church of the Kingdom of God is a novelty since April: the drive-thru prayer. As in a coffee shop, you enter your car, receive the blessing of the pastor and continues on its way [after paying tithing, of course].
The technique was already used in a unit of Universal Houston, Texas. Since 2006 Pastor Renato Cardoso uses the method. "Here in Houston just to see people on the streets, only cars, so we had this idea," says the shepherd.
The driver comes in and receives a brochure with the schedule of Masses, a presentation of the church and information about meetings. Then tells the pastor that the problem is passing, receiving prayer releases the payment of the church and follow its course.
Osvaldo Volpini is the pastor responsible for the work in Sao Paulo. "We realized that during heavy traffic, the cars were parked in front of the church, then put bands signaling the 'Drive-Thru' and drivers began to come to receive prayer," said the site of the Universal Church.
Do you think this trend of fast-church will pick up? If at least protect motorists of traffic accidents or assaults ...
